Indian tourism to Singapore surges in April

Indian visitor arrivals to Singapore increased 30.8% year-on-year in April to 73,000, according to data published last month by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). This increase made India the fourth largest tourism source market for Singapore, trailing only Indonesia, China and Malaysia. The increase was also the third highest rise of all visitor source markets, following Thailand (+57.5%) and Malaysia (+50.8%). In total, Singapore’s arrivals climbed 20.4% year-on-year in April, to reach 938,000.
