Indo plane in emergency landing

A plane operated by Indonesian carrier, Sriwijaya Air, was forced to make an emergency landing at Batam’s Hang Nadim Airport yesterday, after reporting engine problems, the Jakarta Post reported.
The Boeing 737-200 was carrying 116 passengers, from Bintan to Jakarta when what was reported as a “big bang” was heard from the left engine before it diverted to land at nearby Batam.
