InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong has unveiled its newly-refurbished premier rooms and suites.
The HK$200 million (US$25.8m) refurbishment started in the third quarter of 2011 and was completed in three phases, completely altering the rooms’ layout. All 389 premier rooms and suites have now been refurbished, with a new colour scheme, upholstery, carpets and curtains, plus the installation of LED ‘mood lighting’.
The rooms also feature new amenities, including multimedia LCD televisions and Nespresso coffee machine in the premier suites.
“With the new refurbishment, InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong aims to maintain the hotel’s reputation as one of the premier hotel properties in Tsimshatsui East, offering the next level of comfort and luxury for the sophisticated business and leisure travellers,” said the hotel’s general manager, Peter Pollmeier.
InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong offers a total of 570 rooms and suites overlooking the city and Victoria Harbour.
