International student rush

There are approximately 1,60,000 Indian nationals who study abroad, commonly travelling to Australia, Canada, UK and US. As the first semester approaches, airlines are competing for international students by launching promotions as the season approaches its peak. Many are allowing students to take extra baggage, as much as 30kg on Jet Airways, and offering discount rates on tickets and other purchases for students and their dependents.
