JAL summer holiday traffic declines

Japan Airlines Group (JAL) announced its international and domestic results for the Japanese summer vacation period, from 7-16 August, with the carrier reporting declines for both domestic and international passenger traffic. International passengers fell 4.5% during the 10-day period, to 347,209. For domestic traffic, the JAL Group carried 1,312,717 passengers during this period – a 7.6% decline compared to last year.
