A collection of urine-powered video games has been launched at public toilets in Tokyo. Developed by Sega, the ‘Toylets’ use a pressure sensor on the back of the urinal to measure the strength and direction of the urine stream. A video screen at eye-level then allows users to play simple video games, using the urine stream to complete such tasks as washing graffiti off walls. The monitor also calculates the quantity and force of urine being ejected, allowing users to try to beat the previous ‘high scores’. Only in Japan
