Japan records largest ever trade deficit

Japan’s recorded its largest ever deficit in January, reaching JPY172.8 billion (US$1.8 billion). It was its first deficit in 13 years. Government figures show that exports nearly halved in January, while imports fell by a third. Source: BBC.
