Japanese astronaut, Koichi Wakata, is returning to Earth wearing the same underpants he has worn for a month during his space station visit, the BBC has reported. The pants are experimental and designed to be odour-free. As crew on the shuttle Endeavour headed back to Earth, the Japanese astronaut broke the news to his colleagues about the underwear experiment. “I wore them for about a month, and my station crew members never complained for about a month, so I think the experiment went fine,” Wakata was quoted saying.
