Jet Airways launches India-Italy service

Jet Airways has launched daily non-stop services from New Delhi to Milan. The service, which will commence from 5 December 2010, will by Jet’s 24th international destination and will operate using an Airbus 330-200. “We are confident that Jet Airways will soon emerge as the preferred carrier on this popular route given our unparalleled network in India and ever expanding international footprint,” said Jet Airways CEO Nikos Kardassis. “Milan, as indeed the European Union, is an important market for us and we are convinced of capturing and growing the market. We believe that this new route has the potential to serve the needs of our discerning corporate and leisure travellers”. Delhi flights will leave at 1255 to arrive in Milan at 1800. The return service will depart Milan at 2125 to land in Delhi at 0955.
