Jet Airways has unveiled a new concept whereby passengers can pay to change to an earlier flight.
The new ‘JetAdvance’ initiative is applicable for Jet’s domestic flight network, and allows passengers to secure seats on earlier flights as long as the difference between the departure times is no longer than four hours.
The flight change can only be made by a passenger who is physically present at the airport and is subject to seat availability on the earlier flight. The services is charged at INR1,000 (US$15) per passenger per flight.
“The comfort and convenience of guests is our utmost priority. This new feature demonstrates Jet Airways’ continued commitment to the ‘Guest First’ philosophy,” said Gaurang Shetty, Jet Airways’ whole-time director.
“We understand the need of guests having to save precious time while travelling between important engagements. With the introduction of this feature, Jet Airways has yet again raised the industry benchmark for customer experience,” he added.
JetAdvance is not applicable for passengers booked under group fares.
