Jet, MAS ink codeshare, FFP deal

Jet Airways and Malaysia Airlines (MAS) have signed a codeshare and reciprocal
Frequent Flyer (FFP) partnership to provide customers with enhanced travel connectivity and privileges.
Under the deal, Jet will place its “9W” flight code on MAS flights operating between Kuala Lumpur and Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. In return, Malaysia Airlines will place its “MH” code on Jet Airways’ daily services between Chennai and Kuala Lumpur.
In addition, customers will be able to earn and redeem Jet’s JetPrivilege and MAS’ Enrich miles when they travel with the respective airlines. The two airlines have a total of approximately 3 million FFP members.
