India’s Jet Airways plans to enter the hotel business, the Times of India reported, citing Chairman Naresh Goyal.
Jet Airways will form a separate company that will open hotels in India and overseas and also run an in-flight catering business, the newspaper said.
The airline has acquired land near the airport in Brussels and has received offers from hotel companies in the Gulf region to build and operate hotels, the report said.
The hotels will house its crew, hence cutting cost.
