Jet2.com is expanding its operations from Manchester Airport for summer 2011 with the launch of the carrier’s first route to Brive, Dordogne. The flights will operate twice weekly between May and September, opening up the region to the North West’s holidaymakers. “We are delighted to be able to introduce the new route of Brive (Dordogne) to Manchester Airport, along with two new routes to Cyprus and extra flights to some of our most popular holiday routes,” said Jet2 boss Philip Meeson. “The North West has been one of our biggest growth areas in recent years and we have stuck to our commitment of offering flights from Jet2.com and packages through Jet2holidays to a wide range of destinations, some of which are not currently served by any other airline out of Manchester.”
