Jetwing, the Sri Lankan hotel group, has opened its first hotel in the northern city of Jaffna.
Set in a seven-storey building, the hotel offers 55 rooms, all of which are air-conditioned and feature free Wi-Fi and private balconies with views across Jaffna and the Indian Ocean. Ten of the rooms are inter-connecting, making them suitable for families.
F&B facilities include a 100-seat all-day international restaurant and 24-hour room service, and there is also a meeting room capable of accommodating up to 60 guests.
The hotel is also located next to a Cargills mall, complete with a food court, cinema and ATM, and just five minutes away from Jaffna railway station.
Jetwing now operates more than 25 hotel and villa properties across Sri Lanka, with five more due to open in the remainder of 2016, including properties of Colombo and Galle.
