JTA reports record early year sales

Tour operator JTA has reported record sales for January and February with 40% year-on-year growth.
The Midlands-based firm has seen the benefits of its new Needacruise and MedSun Holidays brands to triple in size in the last three years.
The launch of Needacruise last year is said to have exceeded expectations through offering agents a tool where they can package cruises, flights and accommodation on one website.
“We are delighted to see such fantastic support from the trade albeit this is only the start of many other exciting projects still to come and the continued growth for Needacruise and MedSun which complements our traditional flight expertise and offers agents a ‘one stop shop’ for all product types and destinations,” said JTA’s managing director Wayne Darrock.
JTA also has plans to open another call centre in Manchester to meet wider demands.
