The Jumeirah Group’s Executive Chairman, Gerald Lawless, has said that the luxury hotel management company is continuing to do well, despite the economic crisis.
“We closed the month of February in our beach hotels, including Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, with an occupancy of 90%. We will do 90 per cent for March and we will do 90% for April,” Lawless was reported by Gulf News saying.
The report added that Jumeirah remains optimistic about plans to have 60 hotels and 150 branded restaurants operating or under development by 2012.
