Jumeirah signs first management deal in Egypt

Dubai-based hospitality giant Jumeirah Group has signed an agreement with Palm Hills Developments (PHD), one of Egypt’s premier developers, to manage Jumeirah Gamsha Bay Resort, a new five-star deluxe resort located in PHD’s Palm Gamsha resort on the Red Sea, Egypt. The deal marks Jumeirah’s first in Egypt and brings to 48 the number of properties under development or in operation by Jumeirah globally.Jumeirah will manage the luxury 250-room hotel located on the mixed-use development of Palm Gamsha, an integrated community of more than 20 man-made islands forming the shape of a seahorse, located 47km North West of Hurghada airport. Guests will be able to take advantage of the region’s renowned tourist activities and attractions, including bird watching, hiking, golf, diving, desert safaris and visiting archaeological sites.
