Kingfisher Airlines on Wednesday announced a string of changes to services on its domestic route network.
The changes include the introduction of one new route and additional frequencies on existing routes. As of 1 March, the airline will begin flights on a new route New Delhi-Ranchi-Patna-New Delhi.
Meanwhile a third late evening flight will be introduced on the New Delhi-Amritsar-New Delhi route and flights on the New Delhi-Guwahati-Imphal-Guwahati-New Delhi route will now operate daily.
As of 7 March, a second daily service will be added to the New Delhi-Srinagar-New Delhi route.
Other changes being made include the introduction of a dual cabin aircraft offering premium Kingfisher First service and Kingfisher Class service on IT 319 Mumbai-New Delhi and IT 320 New Delhi-Mumbai flights.
The timings of the New Delhi-Bhubaneswar flight IT 3349 have been re-scheduled and this flight will now depart New Delhi at 7.10am, 75 minutes later than currently scheduled, while the timings of the New Delhi-Jaipur-New Delhi flights have been shifted to offer more convenient flight timing options.
Commenting on the launch of these new routes, Manoj Chacko, Kingfhider’s Executive Vice President, said; “The launch of these eleven new flights will further strengthen our domestic route network and offer guests more flight options to choose from.”
These latest change follow a fourth wave of new flights which were launched only a short while ago.
The announcement accompanies the launch of a new consumer offer from Kingfisher whereby all guests who book and travel before April 10, 2011 will become eligible to receive free award tickets depending on the number of flights flown and the class of travel.
The offer is exclusively available to king Club members, though it is free to join up.
