The Airports Authority of India has taken Kishangarh Airport development in Rajasthan.
The new airport will be operational in the next 36 months with AAI investing over INR161 crore. The foundation stone of the airport was laid by India’s Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh last weekend.
The airport will have a capacity to handle 150 passengers at a time with parking area for 125 cars. “The length of the runway will be 2,000 metres which will only enable smaller aircraft to operate initially. The aircraft will only operate during the day.
