Korean Air will provide 12,000 1.5-litre bottles of mineral water to people affected by the Christchurch earthquake. The water was delivered over two days (3-4 March 2011) through Korean Air’s regular scheduled flight to Auckland, and the airline also covered all extra ground transportation fees. The bottled water will be handed over to New Zealand Civil Defence for distribution to people struck by the quake.
The devastating earthquakes in Christchurch has disrupted clean water supplies in the city.
