Korean Air has partnered with DAVI, the skincare branch of the Mondavi wine family, for an in-flight amenity kit. The kit will be introduced to Korean Air’s First and Business Class passengers this month, on long-haul flights from the US, Europe and Oceania.
“This luxurious amenity kit reflects Korean Air’s brand of excellence,” said the airline’s Senior Vice President, Heather Cho. “The cosmetics are made of grape and wine extracts from California’s Napa Valley, plus extracts from green tea, raspberries, black currants, rosemary, olives and others. When combined, they offer anti-aging effects and can recover skin vitality and light.”
A five-product kit will be offered to First Class passengers, while the Business Class kit will feature three DAVI products, including the face cream Le Grand Cru, Cooling Eye Gel and Lip Balm. There will be different kits for departure flights and arrival flights.
“Our goal is to make the inflight experience as enjoyable as possible, so our customers will want to return,” Ms Cho added. “The products in these kits will soothe travelers’ skin and help them arrive refreshed and ready after long flights.”
In addition, the airline is now serving passengers a low-calorie, healthy menu option for Economy Class passengers on flights of more than eight hours.
