Korean Air to launch Incheon-Shizuoka service

Korean Air announced that it will launch new flight services from Incheon International Airport in Seoul to the central Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka. The carrier has started operating its first international flight services to the newly opened Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport.
Korean Air will operate daily flights on Incheon-Shizuoka route opening up various touristic resources in the central part of Japan, including Mt. Fuji, Hamana Lake and historic hot springs.
The location of the Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport also provides business travellers with convenient access to the metropolitan cities, such as Tokyo and Nagoya. This is KA’s 15th destination in Japan.
