Anak Krakatau is continuing to erupt in Indonesia, the Antara news agency has reported. The volcano, which lies in the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra, is reportedly spewing ash and plumes of smoke 1,200 metres into the sky. So far no flight services have been affected, although the island is currently off limits with a 2km exclusion zone having been set up around the volcano.
