KSA outbound tourism on the rise: Elaf Group

Saudi Arabia’s outbound tourism figures are on the rise as an increasing number of citizens take part in international conferences on topics relevant to the Saudi community.That’s the conclusion drawn by KSA-based travel specialist, the Elaf Group, which has recently organised group travel for medical conferences in Bahrain, Paris and Barcelona.Elaf Group CEO Ziyad Ahmed Bin Mahfouz said Saudis were travelling overseas to improve their knowledge of medicine and the pharmaceuticals.The group’s Deputy General Manager, Majid Kaki, added: “Elaf provides those groups with a comprehensive range of high-profile services, including ticket bookings, hotel reservations, securing visas, providing airport transportation to and from the hotels in the host countries, coordinating and organising recreational activities, and other services.”Elaf Group, a major provider of hotel, travel, tourism and shipping services, as well as restaurants, transportation and Hajj and Umrah services, said it had made significant investments to develop the capabilities and professional expertise of its team of specialists.The aim, it said, was to “provide the best services in accordance with the highest international standards and to help meet the growing demand for travel bookings from groups and companies”. “The Group has been highly successful across various facets of its business, including coordinating tours for conferences and forums in various fields, whether medical, scientific, educational or economic-oriented events,” said a company statement.
