Etihad Airways Engineering recently completed the region’s first heavy maintenance C-check on a Boeing 787 aircraft for LATAM.
LATAM was the launch customer for the B787 Dreamliner in the Americas and selected Etihad Airways Engineering to carry out the first scheduled C-check on its B787 aircraft.
Jeff Wilkinson, senior vice president technical, Etihad Airways, said: “This was also the first C-check carried out in the Middle East region, and provides a strong endorsement of inherent quality and skill sets of the team involved.”
The LATAM Aviation Group has a total fleet of more than 300 aircraft with more than 230 aircraft on order.
