Lion Air plane makes emergency landing

A Lion Air plane carrying 160 passengers was forced to make an emergency landing in the Indonesian province of Central Kalimantan on Saturday. Local media reported that the plane, bound for Surabaya, was forced to turn back to Tjilik Riwut Airport in Palangkaraya. The aircraft reportedly underwent a series of checks before resuming its journey approximately four hours later.
