Loganair relaunches world’s shortest flight to Orkney Islands

Loganair has relaunched its flights fromKirkwall to the Orkney Islands for the summer 2011 season. The two minutejourney is the world’s shortest scheduled flight and its schedule has beenextended this year to meet popular demand. Flights will leave Kirkwall everyTuesday, Thursday and Saturday from June to early September for the 45-minuteisland-hopping trip.
