Macau’s gaming revenue has slowed again in the third quarter of 2008, Xinhua has reported. Revenue generated from casinos still grew 27.6% for the three months ending 30 September, according to Macau’s Statistics and Census Service (DSEC). This was notably lower however, than the 61.8% and 47.6% increases recorded in the first and the second quarters of the year.
Total visitor spending (excluding gaming expenses) rose by just 4.2%, according to the DSEC.
