Majesty of the Seas to leave Royal Caribbean fleet

Royal Caribbean has announced its Majesty of the Seas ship will transfer to a sister company n 2016.
The ship will transfer to Spain-based Pullmantur next year, which is also owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
Its final cruise under Royal Caribbean International will be three-night sailing departing 29 April, after which it will enter drydock before joining Pullmantur.
“Majesty of the Seas has created wonderful memories for millions of guests, and we expect this record of success to continue as she transitions to Pullmantur. The vessel’s transfer is an excellent business opportunity for both Royal Caribbean and Pullmantur,” said Royal Caribbean’s chairman and CEO Richard Fain. “We are fortunate that our mix of brands allows us the flexibility and opportunity to expand in key strategic markets.”
Royal Caribbean’s Monarch of the Seas switched to Pullmantur in 2012.
