The Singapore office of Tourism Malaysia has unveiled a new website to promote tour packages in Malaysia.
The interactive website, ineedabreak.com.sg, will enable surfers to communicate directly with Tourism Malaysia in Singapore for travel information and to select the most suitable tour packages, Bernama reported.
Speaking at the launch, Tourism Malaysia’s director in Singapore Rafidah Idris said she hopes to see 10.2 million visitors from Singapore (excluding day-trippers) this year.
Singapore is Malaysia’s biggest source market.
Rafidah was quoted saying that Tourism Malaysia was encouraging Singaporeans to visit the east coast and northern states of Peninsular Malaysia, namely Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah, which were having their own state campaigns this year.
