Malaysia upgrades ‘second home’ programme

Malaysiahas upgraded its “Malaysia My Second Home Program (MM2H)” programme in a bid toattract more foreigners and investment to the country, according to a Xinhuareport.
Qualified participants will be given a multiple-entry visa for ten years (andrenewable thereafter), the Malaysian Tourism Ministry was reported saying.Applicants can also now apply to join the programme directly, while foreignersmarried to Malaysians are also eligible. Participants aged above 50 areallowed to work part-time, while the rule on dependents has also been widened.
