Malaysians visiting China have picked the Great Wall as their number one choice in their tour itinerary, a Bernama reports said.
The second choice in their tour list is the Forbidden City, followed by the Silk Road, according to the findings of a survey conducted by credit card payment brand Visa recently.
In a release of the study quoted by Bernama, Visa said 91% of Malaysians surveyed chose the Great Wall as their first choice, followed by 75% who selected the Forbidden City and 48% preferring the Silk Road.
Visa said the Australians (88%) was second and New Zealanders (87%) third after Malaysians, who placed the Great Wall at the top of their list of places to see. Over 3,000 people in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and India were interviewed by Nielsen during the survey in March and April this year, to measure their travel intentions in the future.
