MaldivesTraveller.mv is celebrating a sparkling new makeover; with a comprehensive breaking news section and even more eye-catching graphics.
It was officially launched by Maldives Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Ali Sawad, today (February 18). Catering to both tourists and the travel industry alike, Maldives-Traveller.com is the ultimate online source of in-depth Maldives news, reviews and features. The website is the only portal which specifically covers travel and tourism news in the Maldives and the stories are updated daily. Check out the latest news on new resort facilities, tourism awards, special events, activities, marine conservation efforts, offers and more. Current highlights include an exclusive competition to win a holiday for two at the five-star Diva Maldives resort.
The top headlines are revealed on Twitter each day @MVTraveller and on the newly-launched Maldives Traveller page on Facebook; which already has a buzzing online community. As well as the detailed news section, features and blogs cast a spotlight on the many off-beat, creative and adventurous opportunities for tourists in the Maldives.
There is an online directory of all the accommodation available in the region, complimented by beautiful photography. The Maldives Traveller accommodation guide allows you to browse either the full index of resorts or by holiday type - such as honeymoons, family holidays, spa breaks, diving trips or business.
Visitors to the website can also post questions in the online forum, get travel advice and look up the latest weather forecast for the Maldives.
Maldivestraveller.mv was first launched in 2007 and compliments the highly-respected Maldives Traveller magazine. The glossy magazine is distributed worldwide in English, French, German, Chinese, Italian, Russian and Japanese. The magazine has been thriving since 2002, during which time it has seen off countless competitors which failed to match the success of Maldives Traveller.
Both the Maldives Traveller website and magazine are published by the Maldives’ leading travel publishing firm, Tropical Paradise Pvt Ltd. Tropical Paradise is a privately-owned publishing firm based in the Maldives with a mission to promote the Maldives tourism industry around the globe.
