The body of a man being transported from Samoa to New Zealand for burial has been lost in transit, news.com.au has reported. Baggage handlers reportedly left the corpse in Apia airport after a mix-up saw an Air New Zealand flight take-off without it.
The Samoa Observer reported that human error was to blame. The corpse was discovered after a search and flown to New Zealand the following day.
