Marriott has launched a new marketing campaign and logo for its main Marriott Hotels brand in Asia.
The new ‘M’ logo and ‘Travel Brilliantly’ campaign were unveiled earlier this year, and have now arrived in Asia Pacific. As well as the new logo and strapline, the new brand campaign includes online TV and digital advertising, social media activities and a new English-language website, travelbrilliantly.com.
According to Marriott, the multi-year campaign “[celebrates] how the global travel experience opens minds and is inspirational”.
“The iconic Marriott Hotels brand is on a journey to transform itself and reassert its position as an innovation leader,” said Mara Hannula, vice president of global marketing for Marriott Hotels. “Therefore, the campaign had to be bold in not only staking our claim, but also engaging the next generation of travellers to join us in co-creating the future of travel.”
Phase one of the new campaign in Asia will see the roll-out of a 30-second video advertisement in China, India and Australia, on channels including Youku, PPTV, YouTube, Fairfax Media, BBC India and CNBC India from the end of August. This will be followed by a tie-up with TripAdvisor/Daodao to drive engagement with the media and industry bloggers.
The campaign will also lead to the redesign of the hotel’s lobbies and public spaces, including new digital signage and touchpoints.
