MAS launches Bandung flights

Subang (14 June 2010): Malaysia Airlines is set to take off to Bandung, Indonesia next month by offering promotional fares starting from RM181 one way all inclusive from 14 to 28 June 2010. These fares will be available at www.malaysiaairlines.com for travel from 16 July to 31 December 2010.
Bandung will be the sixth destination in Indonesia offered by the national carrier after Jakarta, Bali, Medan, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.
Malaysia Airlines Senior General Manager, Commercial Strategy, Dr Amin Khan said, “Extending our services to Bandung is a natural progression for us as it is in line with our plans for network expansion. These new flights will offer greater connectivity, boost tourism and increase traffic for both countries.
“Moreover, we are delighted that Malaysia Airlines will be the first full service carrier to fly to Bandung. We believe we will offer value for customers flying this route. Shoppers will be especially appreciative of the 20kg baggage allocation as Bandung is well known as a shopping haven,” he added.
