Malaysia Airlines is searching for a new city in southern India from which to expand its operations, the Times of India reported. Although it already flies to five Indian cities, including Chennai and Bengaluru in the south, MAS is considering a further option to strengthen its position in the Indian market. “We are looking for another city in the south to fly to. I have been to Trivandrum, Kochi and Tiruchirapalli. We take a decision in the due course of time,” MAS South Asia Regional Manager Christopher Yek was quoted saying.
