The galloping Gallic gourmets at Michelin have turned their attention to Hong Kong, the Times of London has reported. The city is set to become the Guide’s second Asian destination, after Tokyo, and brings with it the possibility of increased gastro-tourism, an economic boost, and beads of sweat forming on the brows of chefs throughout the city. Michelin’s clandestine critics have the opportunity to make or break restaurants. Singapore beware - the city state is reportedly next on the Guide’s target list.
