As the summer peak season picks, British Airways (BA) is urging all holidaymakers to check and double check their flight details. Why? Because the UK flag-carrier has reported that at least 30 passengers a month miss their flights by arriving at the airport 24 hours late.
“Ask around your office. They might not like to admit it, but I bet at least one of your colleagues has made this mistake before!” said Joerg Tuensmeyer, BA’s General Manager for Greater China and The Philippines. “People tend to think that this will never happen to them, but nearly every night someone tries to check in a day late at Hong Kong International Airport,” Tuensmeyer added. She continued by reminding passengers that the date they head to the airport, isn’t always the same date they fly.
BA operates three flights a day to London from Hong Kong. “
