In light of the growing focus on Saudization, Millennium Hotel Hail recently received a platinum rating for Saudization under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Nitaqat system.
The recognition is in line with Millennium & Copthorne Middle East & Africa’s wider strategy to attract and retain Saudi nationals as it continues with ambitious growth plans in the Kingdom. The expansion will see over 20 hotels open within the next five years, employing over 5000 people.
Under the country’s Nitaqat system, companies are categorised depending on number of Saudis working for them, with Platinum being the highest rating. Millennium Hotel Hail works closely with the local government and education authorities to recruit from the local community, with an aim to employ over 50% of the 150 strong team from the surrounding area.
Sherif Ezzat, general manager, Millennium Hotel Hail said: “We look forward to giving our employees the opportunity to prosper and grow so they use their knowledge and skills to deliver the highest standards of service.”
The hotel is employing Saudi nationals to fulfil hospitality roles across all functions from housekeeping and concierge to sales, marketing and HR departments.
