The Cotai Strip CotaiJet has launched overnight high-speed ferry services between Hong Kong and Macau.
On top of its current 56 sailings operating between the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong and the Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal in Macau, CotaiJet will have six additional overnight sailings, three (12am, 1am, 2am) departing from Hong Kong to Taipa, and another three (1am, 3am, 5am) from Taipa to Hong Kong.
“The expanded overnight CotaiJet ferry service will provide greater flexibility to visitors who come to Macau for live entertainment, business and shopping at Macau’s new mega shopping centers,” said Stephen Weaver, Las Vegas Sands Corp President for the Asian Region.
The ferries are from a wholly-owned subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands Corp. The custom-built ferries each carries more than 400 passengers and travel at top speeds of close to 42 knots.
