Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya has opened a new restaurant, the T55 New York Grill Room .
Inspired by New York’s Meatpacking District but located on the shores of the Gulf of Thailand, T55 New York Grill Room aims to recreate the Big Apple hipster vibe. Aged prime cuts are laid out in glass chill boxes in the Butcher Room for guests to choose.
Signature dishes include a 1000-gram Tomahawk steak and Meatpacking Burger which comprises 250 grams of beef topped with bacon, avocado, beetroot and truffle mayonnaise.
The T55 Waldorf salad, also originating from New York, has been given a new interpretation with sliced apples, walnuts and homemade mayonnaise.
Asker Skaarup Bay, executive chef of Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya, said: “The latest culinary trend of pairing a steak with cocktails comes to life at T55 New York Grill Room through an extensive cocktail list to pair with the succulent meat dishes.
“Our signature Bloody Larger – a twist on the classic Bloody Mary – takes a handcrafted cocktail to another level with a blend of Tito’s handmade vodka and the restaurant’s own secret recipe.”
