The My Humble House Group will unveil its first hotel brand this winter, with the opening of the Humble House Taipei.
The company, which already operates Starwood-branded properties in Taipei, will now bring its own label to the city with a contemporary hotel featuring art and design elements. Designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates, the Humble House Taipei will be “a refreshing cosmopolitan experience”, according to the company.
“As cross-Strait interaction increases, we see great potential in Taiwan’s tourism market. Humble House Taipei is the first hotel brand owned by Humble House Group, and aims to ‘develop in Taiwan with international vision’, creating Humble House-styled experience for global travellers,” explained Sheng Hsu-ping, GM of Humble House Taipei.
Located in the central Xinyi district of Taipei, close to the Taipei 101 tower, the hotel features 235 rooms and suites, all with LCD HDTVs, DVD players, espresso machines and free Wi-Fi. Facilities at the hotel include a large 700m² ballroom and two meeting rooms, plus an Italian restaurant on the sixth floor and a lobby lounge with outdoor garden.
