MIHAN India Limited (MIL), the company operating Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, will start using one of the two aerobridges on 12 September. Most airlines operating flights from Nagpur have expressed reluctance to pay INR 2,750 per flight for use of the aerobridge and pushback tractor. Both aerobridges have been ready for months, but have not been pressed into service. Aerobridge No.1 will be commissioned and start operations, while aerobridge No.2 will start operations after the re-carpeting of tarmac and taxiway, sources at the airport informed Times of India.
