A new Asian airline launched today at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Asia Atlantic Airlines will initially offer flights to Tokyo and Osaka with two Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

It has further plans to launch flights from the Thailand airport to China, South Korea, Guam and Hawaii.

The airline has been set up by Japan-based H.I.S Group and Thailand’s Baiyoke Group and aims to become a “dynamic new force” in Asia’s airline industry.

Its customers will have access to a lounge dedicated immigration counters at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Today the first of its B767 was anointed with the airline’s president Bobby Haque and Baiyoke Group chairman Panlert Baiyoke in attendance.

“With our years of experience of leisure tours in Asia, we offer convenience not only for tour operators but also guests, who will enjoy the highest standards of safety and service comparable with legacy carriers,” said Haque.
