New bridges open in HCMC

Two new bridges opened in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on Saturday, aimed at easing traffic congestion in the crowded Vietnamese city. Thanh Nien News reported that the 295-metre Rach Chiec Bridge now connects Districts 2 and 9 across the Rach Chiec River, while the 150-metre Thu Thiem Bridge links District 2 and Binh Thanh District.
