A new business travel company has been launched this week created from the merger of TD Travel and Hotelscene.
Corporate Travel International (CTI) has more than 175 staff in offices across the UK, including Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Hull, London, Bolton and Bristol.
Its employees have an average service length of 19 years in the sector and has annual revenues of GBP100 million.
As well as its core business travel brand, the group also includes CTI Hotels, CTI Marine, CTI Meetings & Events and CTI Sport.
It is led by CEO Ian White with Chris Needham as CIO; Tony Norwood as COO and Andy Haslam as financial director.
“Merging Hotelscene with TD Travel to form CTI is the realisation of a vision that both Chris Needham and I have shared for many years in relation to the creation of a single company that truly combines a specialist travel management company and hotel booking agent to provide clients with the most complete service provision in the market,” said White on the launch.
He revealed the company will also launch an online booking solution next year that has been developed in-house.
“The next stage in this vision is the launch of CTI Sherpa which will be officially unveiled in February 2014. CTI Sherpa is a bespoke knowledge-based online booking solution that we have spent two years developing in-house and that will revolutionise the way companies book their travel,” explained White.
