A heritage route in New Delhi - from the Red Fort to the Humayun Tomb – has received a US$200,000 grant from the World Monuments Fund and American Express.
The heritage route will enable visitors to go on a self-guided tour of Humayun Tomb, Red Fort and other heritage sites between them. Electric buses will ply the route at frequent intervals. Visitors will be able to buy a day-long pass and hop on and off the bus at any of the stops in between.
