New expressway to connect KL

Construction on a major new highway has begun in Malaysia, the New Straits Times has reported. The 33km-long Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway project, set to open in June next year, will cost MYR1 billion (US$290 million), will cut travelling time between KL to Kuala Selangor to just 30 minutes, from two hours currently, the report stated.
