A new marina has opened on the Thai resort island of Koh Chang.
The Siam Royal View marina can accommodate up to 75 boats of up to 90 feet (27 metres) in length, plus a further 70-80 12-metre-long vessels in a new dry dock. All piers are provided with electricity and water, while the Siam Royal View development also includes a marina pub, restaurant, swimming pools, a nine-hole golf course and four private beaches.
“The largest boat we have received so far was 72 feet. However at high tide we can handle up to 90ft, and our concrete pier can even handle super yachts well over 100ft,” said Roland Steiner, one of the development owners.
“This state of the art Thai marina is wonderfully situated on the Gulf of Thailand, with over 50 islands to visit with some of the best snorkelling and diving to be found anywhere,” he added.
The new marina is located close to the ferry terminals, in the north of Koh Chang.
